Gradey Dick has avoided what could've been a major injury.
Dick is "good to go" for the Toronto Raptors' weekend back-to-back against the Charlotte Hornets and New York Knicks, head coach Darko Rajakovic told reporters on Friday.
As the Raptors secured their ninth consecutive win on Wednesday with a victory against the Indiana Pacers, the third-year guard exited late in the first quarter and did not return.
The 22-year-old took an awkward fall while attempting to rebound the ball and appeared to hit his head.
After the game, head coach Darko Rajakovic told reporters that Dick was kept out for precautionary reasons, adding that he is OK.
He has since been a full participant in practice.
Dick had three rebounds and one assist in six minutes against the Pacers before he was forced to leave the game. He came into Wednesday's game averaging 7.2 points and 1.9 rebounds over 18 games. He's been part of a strong Raptors' secondary unit to start the season, playing an average of 16.6 minutes per game off the bench.
Rajakovic also said RJ Barrett, who the Raptors announced will be sidelined at least a week due to a right knee sprain, is "improving day-to-day, but it's going to take some time."
